If you are writing to request a genome that is not currently in our list, please include the taxon ID. Alternatively, we can use the genus, species, and subspecies or strain or isolate along with a GenBank Refseq number consisting of "NC_" followed by the appropriate five or six digits representing a complete chromosome. If the genome consists of multiple chromosomes, a list of all the Refseq numbers would be appreciated.

In the future, we will be adding functionality to analyze the numerous incomplete genomes that can be found in GenBank and we will also provide support for FASTA format and a means for investigators to upload genomic sequences for analysis. We will also offer other services including the assembly of genomes from raw sequencing (or re-sequencing) data and pairwise and/or multiple genome alignments.
